NPIEN is looking for some good speakers for our 9th Annual Education Conference on November 13, 2010 at Artesia High School, Lakewood, CA in the following areas:
Parents: Parent involvement, Financial Aid, College and Career Support, Study Skills
Educators, K-12 and College: Cultural Barriers, Best Practices to Motivate Students
Arts and Crafts: Lei Making, Basket Weaving, etc. for all ages
Dance Workshop: For students and adults – Micronesian, Polynesian, Melanesian dances
College Students, High School Students, Middle School Students (Combined or separate workshops depending on enrollment): College survival, Financial Aid, Networking, Peer Panel Discussion, Guest Speakers (Mentors, professionals from PI community)
The deadline for proposals is June 1, 2010.
